SUNDAYS AT 10:30 AM IN THE SANCTUARY
What is your worship style?
It is a "blended service" in that we offer the best of both the traditional and contemporary expressions of worship.
What can I expect when I worship online or in person?
First, a warm welcome and acceptance for all. Musically, a combination of praise and contemporary songs with a traditional hymn and choral anthem. Both the Collective (our band) and the New Beginnings Singers (our choir) are unified in spirit and theme for that Sunday by our Music Director. You can also expect a sermon text from the Bible and a 15-20 minute sermon with supporting images displayed on large screens. Other elements include announcements, prayers, collection of tithes and offerings, and a "passing of the peace." We celebrate an "open table" communion for all persons to partake of on the first Sunday of each month and special holidays.
Anything else I should know as a visitor?
First and foremost, as a "Lighthouse Congregation" we love visitors and explicitly welcome all persons to fully engage with us in the art of worship. Secondly, we have a variety of seating options from tables and chairs, blue padded chairs, and traditional pews. You may bring in coffee, water, etc. into the service. In fact, we provide these before the service at the beverage center in the vestibule. There is a bathroom conveniently located in the vestibule with a changing table. You may bring your small children with you, or leave them with trained staff in the nursery who will provide you with a beeper.
